The BeyondTXT™ Platform

BeyondTXT™ is Transcend's secure Internet-based technology platform. The system comprises all the components that go into making a complete document creation system, from dictation capture to speech recognition, to document completion, to delivery of results into the electronic medical record (EMR). BeyondTXT™ also provides customizable and flexible printing and auto-faxing distribution capabilities. All BeyondTXT™ platform components are engineered in a redundant and fault-tolerant configuration and are hosted in a world-class secure data center in Atlanta, Georgia.

The BeyondTXT™ workflow software provides our medical language specialists (MLS) and staff an exceptional production platform built for optimum productivity, while ensuring punctual, high-quality work on every job. Customers have access to BeyondTXT™ through the WebConsole application, and each dictated report, or "job", has detailed tracking/logging information. From the moment of dictation, customers have the ability to easily monitor and prioritize any job in the system. WebConsole also provides customers with instant reporting for turnaround time performance and comprehensive reconciliation of all work in the system.

Reporting

Transcend customers enjoy detailed reporting directly through the BeyondTXT™ WebConsole. Clients have the option to monitor all work in progress by job status. Each job has detailed tracking/logging information from the beginning of the job's lifecycle and through each step of the transcription process, including user and system access to the job/report. This detailed tracking is essential to ensure each job is completed within the contractual turnaround time (TAT). It also provides the requisite audit trail to comply with privacy regulations.

Transcend also develops customized reporting for clients through the WebConsole report generation module. Transcend clients receive a customized monthly status report from their account manager. The report summarizes the overall account status including TAT, quality performance, and any open items.

Report Distribution

Transcend provides clients the flexibility to control report distribution of completed transcription through their current in house platform or have Transcend assume this responsibility.

HL7 and Other Connectivity

Distribution alternatives include pure socket-based HL7 feeds to HIS systems, data repositories, COLD feeds, flat-file transfer, direct printing on your network printers, direct faxing, or even accessing directly within the WebConsole.  All these methods of distribution can be fine-tuned to your schedule and combined together into a combination of any of the above methods.
