Flexible document distribution and connectivity to a wide range of Health Information Systems are also critical components of a preferred outsourcing solution. Solution Workflow
As indicated in the following diagram, caregivers dictate directly into our system through either a toll-free number, or through an internal number routed to Transcend's toll-free number. Transcend's workflow software will then manage the entire transcription process; routing jobs to the assigned transcriptionist staff, monitoring the jobs-in-progress against assigned turnaround time parameters, providing quality assurance, and managing the distribution of all completed documents to user-specified locations.
Reporting
Transcend clients enjoy detailed reporting directly through the BeyondTXT™ WebConsole. Clients have the option to monitor all work in progress by job status. Each job has detailed tracking/logging information from the beginning of the job's lifecycle and through each step of the transcription process, including user and system access to the job/report. This detailed tracking is essential to ensure each job is completed within the contractual turnaround time (TAT). It also provides the requisite audit trail to comply with privacy regulations.
Transcend also develops customized reporting for clients through the WebConsole report generation module. Transcend clients receive a customized monthly status report from their account manager. The report summarizes the overall account status including TAT, quality performance, and any open items.
Report Distribution
Customers have the flexibility to control distribution of transcribed reports through their current in-house platform; or, they can have Transcend manage the distribution directly from the BeyondTXT™ platform.
HL7 and Other Connectivity
Distribution alternatives include pure socket-based HL7 feeds to HIS systems, EMR, COLD feeds, flat-file transfer, direct printing on your network printers, direct faxing, or even accessing directly within the WebConsole. All these methods of distribution can be fine-tuned to your schedule and combined together into a combination of any of the above methods.
